Invitation: Futuristic History results seminar
The Futuristic History project welcomes you to a public seminar on the use of mixed reality technologies in museum and culture environments! The event takes place on Decemeber 9 at the auditorium of The National Museum of Finland in Helsinki. The seminar features talks by the project’s partners and presentations by researchers about the findings and pilot applications developed within the project. Come and learn about new inspiring ways of experiencing history with the help of modern mobile applications and how to develop such content without excessive resources.
Coffee will be served at 9.00 and the seminar starts at 9.30 with an opening speech by Vesa Hongisto, the Head of Department of Archives and Information Services at the Finland’s National Board of Antiquities. After the presentations it will be possible to try out several of the presented applications. The seminar closes at 12.00.
While the event is free of charge, please, sign up here before December 3 in order for us to secure adequate catering. The event is in Finnish.
