Metaio was a leading augmented reality company that was apparently acquired by apple. Their offerings included two different solutions for creating AR content, Metaio Creator and Metaio SDK. The Creator was an easy-to-use software that allowed one to create extensive AR Apps. Metaio Creator supported a wide range of digital content and formats, such as 2D images, videos, audio, 3D models and animations etc. The Metaio SDK was a more extensive solution that could be used with mobile devices and in Unity. Metaio was recently acquired by Apple, and their products are no longer available for download or purchase.
